A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2786, AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO.
3940 AND RESOLUTION NO. 4068, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE EMPLOYER-
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has adopted Resolution No. 2786, as amended
by Resolution No. 3940 and Resolution No. 4068, otherwise known as the Employer-
Employee Relations Resolution of the City of Redlands, to provide orderly procedures
for the administration of employer-employee relations between the City of Redlands
and its employee organizations and for resolving disputes regarding wages, hours, and
other terms and conditions of employment; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend Section 9 A (1 1 ) of the Employer-
Employee Relations Resolution of the City of Redlands to reduce the timeframe for the
General Employees unit of representation from six months to 60 days; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has met and conferred with employee
organizations representing employees in the City of Redlands over said amendments,
and the City and said employee organizations have agreed to said amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands as follows:
Section I
Section 9 A (1 1 ) shall be amended to read as follows:
11 . A statement that the employee organization has in its possession
written proof, dated within six months (60 days for the General
Employees unit of representation) of the date upon which the
petition is filed, to establish that employees in the appropriate unit
have designated the employee organization to represent them in
their employment relations with the City. such written proof shall
be submitted for confirmation to the Municipal Employee Relations
Officer or to a mutually agreed upon disinterested third party.
