RESOLUTION REVISING MAP AID REPORT OF RCUTES FOR SELECT
SYSTEM AND REQUESTTNG THAT UCS REVISED SYSTEM BE APPROVED
BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC ORXS
WFE EA , ;a select system of streets for this city has
been established in accordance with Sections 186 . 3 and 186.4
of the Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS , the City En ineer has submitted to this Council
a report and map in which are recommended certain additions
to the select systems which are warranted by changes brought
about by annexations, changes in traffic or land use patterns
or other causes of e( al necessity which have occurred since
the system was established or last am nde a and
WHEREAS , this Council finds the recommended select sips--
tem additions to be necessary for" the expenditure of appor-
tioned igh ay stirs Tax Funds in the manner and in accordance
with the provisions of the Statutes ;
` CIT, THEREFORE, BE !T RESOLVED that this Council does
adopt said report and map, and in accordance with the provi-
sions of Section 186 . 3 of the Streets and Highways Core does
hereby petition the California Department of Pubic Works to
approve the select system additions and deletions set fort_
therein together with such codifications as the Department mai
find to be necessary to conform to statutory requirements .
