A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION
COMPANY FOR STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY AT DEARBORN STREET AND THE
SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS the Southern Pacific Transportation Company
proposes to grant property .for street purposes to the City
of Redlands , more particularly described as that property
fourty-four feet each side of the centerline of Dearborn
Street through the Southern Pacific Transportation Company
right-of-way, and
WHEREAS consideration for this sale is $2 , 800 .
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redlands that the City of Redlands shall forward
to the Southern Pacific Transportation Company a check in
the amount of $2 , 800 , along with a copy of this resolution
as adopted by the City Council , prior to recording the
Grant Deed for said right-of-way.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 1st day of April , 1980.
