A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ,
COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO , STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ADOPT--
INC A SALARY SCHEDULE FOR OVERTIME PAY PURPOSES FOR
'UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS
FOLLOWS !
SECTION 12 It is hereby ordered and established, that a
regular police officer of the City of Redlands shall receive an
hourly rate of pay equivalent to the 5th step of the police officer
classification current pay scale in effect as established by the
City Coutic1l , for police related off-hour duty assignments with the
exception of off-duty assignments classified by the Chief of Police
as regular overtime police work. When employed for such off-hour
duty. an officer shall receive a minimum of three hours compensation
for any perlod of -time less than three hours and after the third
hour, of . duty 5ha_11 be paid on the hourly basis as heretofore men-
t1oned. The City of Redlands shall be paid for the services of the
off-hour duty offi()rs and shall reserve the right to add a cost of
administration char-e to the officer' s pa-y in order to cover book-
keeping, Insurance and other expenses , Such charge shall be estab-
lished by the Director of Finance .
SECTTON 2 . All resolutions or parts of resolutions in cone
filet herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3z The City Clerk shall certify as to the passage
and adoption of this resolution and it shall thereafter take effect
and be In 11orce.
