A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS,
ADOPTING A SALARY SCHEDULE FOR OVERTIME PAY PURPOSES
FOR UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2467 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS
FOLLOWS ;
SECTION is It is hereby ordered and established that a
regular police officer of the City of Redlands shall receive a
rate of pay of $3 . 10 (Three Dollars & Ten Cents ) per hour for
police related off-hour duty assignments with the exception of
off-duty assignments classified by the Chief of Police as regu-
lar overtime police work. When employed for such off-hour duty,
an officer shall receive a minumum of three hours compensation
for any period of time less then three hours and after the third
hour of duty shall be paid on the hourly basis as hereinbefore
mentioned. The City of Redlands shall be paid for the services
of the off-hour duty officers and shall reserve the right to add
a cost of administration charge to the officer' s pay in order to
cover bookkeeping, insurance, and other expenses. Such charge
shall be established by the Director of Finance .
SECTION 2 : All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3g The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution and it shall thereafter take
effect and be in force.
