A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
TO ADOPT THE 2015 UPPER SANTA ANA RIVER WATERSHED
INTEGRATED REGIONAL WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, in 2005, the members of the Upper Santa Ana Water Resources Association
formed a Teclmical Advisory Group to prepare the Integrated Regional Water Management Plan
(IRWMP) for the Upper Santa Ana River Watershed;
WHEREAS, on December 18, 2007, City Council adopted the IRWMP; and
WHEREAS, following the development of the IRWMP, the Technical Advisory Group
became the Basin Tecluzical Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Basin Technical Advisory Committee agreed to update the IRWMP to
incorporate new requirements of the Integrated Regional Water Management Plan Act of 2011
(SB 834),updates to the goals, and make objectives more specific; and
WHEREAS, the Basin Technical Advisory Committee guided the preparation of the 2015
Upper Santa Ana River Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (Plan) and prepared a
public draft of the Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redlands is a member of the Basin Teclulical Advisory
Committee and supported and participated in preparation of the Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Basin Technical Advisory Committee has addressed public comments
and prepared a final Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Basin Technical Advisory Committee reconunended the adoption of the
Plan by participating agencies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as
follows:
Section 1. The City of Redlands hereby adopts the Plan attached hereto as Exhibit
