A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS , PROVIDING
CROSSING PROTECTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF DEARBORN STREET AND THE
SANTA FE RAILROAD CROSSING NO. 2U-10 . 9 .
WHEREAS , the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Company desires
to install crossing protection at the intersection of Dearborn Street
and the Santa Fe Crossing No , ZU-10 . 9 , and ;
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Redlands desires to provide
for the safety and welfare of the motorng public , and ;
WHEREAS, the crossing protection proposed by the Santa Fe Railroad
would accomplish the mutual objective of the Railroad and the City ,
THEREFORE BE 11' RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby approves the agreement prepared by the Santa Fe Railroad Company
to accomplish this objective , and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign said agreement on behalf of the City of Redlands .
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of November , 1979 .
