HomeMy WebLinkAbout2947_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 2947 A RESOLUTION OF T11 TE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISH- ING PROCEDURES FOR CONSIDERATION OF SECTION 23 LEASED HOUSING (U. S . HOUSING ACT OF 19371 ) WHEREAS, the City of Redlands, on February 2, 1971, adopted Resolution No. 2860 authorizing the operation of Section 23 of the U. S . Housing Act of 1937 (leased housing) within the city, and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Housing Goals and Guidelines adopted by the City of Redlands on September 7, 1971, it is deemed essential and desirable to establish a procedure for consideration of all Section 23 projects proposed within the city, said procedure shall be as follows: I. Preliminary plan shall be reviewed by the Planning Depart- ment of the City of Redlands . 2. If plan is found to comply with all zoning requirements of the city, it is forwarded to the San Bernardino County Housing Authority for consideration. 3 . Following verification of compliance with federal require- ments for Section 23 leased housing, the plan shall then be submitted to the Redlands Housing Commission for evaluation. 4. After review by the Redlands Housing Commission the plan shall be submitted to the Redlands Planning Commission for consideration and recommendation to the City Council.
