A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING
ANNUAL INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS OF ASSESSMENTS IN THE SHERRIL LANE SEWER
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, there is a "Short Form" Improvement District Act of 1911,
set forth in Section 5895 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, which does permit payment of assessments incurred under
said act in annual installments with unpaid balances accruing an inter-
est charge at not to exceed 7% per annum; and
WHEREAS, the charge to be levied against property owners in the
Sherril Lane Sewer Assessment District is $1, 927.00 per lot which
amount qualifies for ,installment repayments; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed equitable that such assessments shall be
spread over a period not to exceed seven years,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redlands that payment of assessments against properties in the Sherril
Lane Sewer Assessment District may be made in no more than seven annual
installments, with unpaid balances of assessment due subject to inter-
est at the rate of 7% per annum. Interest will commence to run on and
after the 31st day of the confirmation of the assessments by this body.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the. City of Redlands
shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be delivered to the
County Auditor of the County of San Bernardino, California, for use in
administering collection of said assessments.
