INVITTNG SEALED �ROPOSGLS OR BIDS.
WHEREAS, this City Council, on the 22nd day of
September, 1949, adopted its Resolution No. 656, declaring
its intention to order certain sanitary sewer work to be
done or improvement to be made under and pursuant to the
Improvement Act of 1911, Division. 7 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California; and

thereon were heard, and this City Council gave all persons
present an opportunity to be heard in respect of any matter
relatin to the work proposed in said Resolution No. 656 or the

which district this City Council has declared to be the
district benefited by the said wore and to be assessed to
pay the cost and expense thereof. For the particular

desoript on of said assessment district reference is hereby
sa3utIion Tho. 656.
Section 3. That this City Council determines
and declares that serial bonds, bearing; interest at the rate
of six per cent (6%) per annum shall be issued to represent
each assessment of twenty-five dollars ($25) or over remain-
ing unpaid for thirty (30) days after the date of recordation
of the warrant. Said serial bonds shall extend over a period
ending nine (g) years from the second day of January next
succeeding the next October 15th following their date. Said
bonds shall be issued under the "Improvement Act of 1911, "
X41 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of

Section Z . That said work and all proceedings
therefor shall be done and performed under and in accordance
with said "Improvement Act of 1911."
Section '. That the City Clerk of said city
is hereby directed to post conspicuously for ten (10) days
on or near the chamber door= of this City Council, in the
manner and form required by law, a notice inviting sealed
Proposals or bids for doing said work ordered hereby, and
said City Clerk is hereby directed to publish twice in the
Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in said city, notice inviting such
