HomeMy WebLinkAbout2426_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 2426 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS ESTABLISHING RATES AND CHARGES OF THE SEWER DIVISION AS PROVIDED BY SECTION FOUR , ORDINANCE 948. Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Redlands that the sewer rates and charges effective on or after February 3, 1965 shall be as follows : Section 1 . (a) Domestic Rates : All dwelling units including single family residences , apartments and hotel accommodations having cooking facilities shall be charged the sum of $1 . 15 per month. (b) Each dwelling unit without cooking facilities shall be charged the sum of $O. 50 per month. (c) Each school shall pay a sewer rental fee according to the following schedule the sum of. $1 00 per month during the school term for each 100 AgD,A. or part thereof computed on the previous years attendance. (d) Each business establishment , manufacturing plant , commercial house, industrial building or plant shall pay the following rates for each sewer connection based on the amount of water consumption of said premise payable monthly as follows : First 1250 cubic feet , or fraction thereof, the sum of seventy cents ($0a70) . 1250 cubic feet to 2000 cubic feet , the sum of one dollar ($1000), and for each additional .1000 cubic feet or fraction thereof, an additional charge of fifty cents ($0.50) will be made The above unit rate being based on one hundred percent. of the estimated cost for sewage treatment , and disposal per M.G. (e) Club buildings and meeting places shall be charged on the same basis as commercial houses , business establishments and industrial buildings or plants . (f) The rental rate for commercial houses and small industries maintaining yard space and landscaping will be based on the average water usage for the month of December and the following month of January, this basis to be established annually. -2- (g) For each church the sum of one dollar and fifteen cents ($1.15) per month. This section includes churches only and not parsonages , which shall be paid at the regular residential rate. Adopted, Signed and Approved this second day of February, 1965. sf Waldo. F.
