§ 83605. Any person violating any of the pro-
visions of this Article shall be deemed guilty of a mis-
demeanor and upon conviction o-ILE' any such violation shall
be punishable by a fine of not more than Three Hundred
Dollars ($300 -00) or by imprisonment for not more than 90
days or by both sucfn fine and imprisonment. (127/0)

Sewer Charges
83700 . DEFINITIONS,
(a) Sewage Systeme Those pipe lines and
appurtenances constructed, maintained and operated by the City
orimarily for the collection of sewage and the conveyance
thereof to the sewage plant owned and operated by the City of
Redlands. (948)
(b) T,--,%.e word "C'ITY" as used herein shall
mean the City of Redlands. (948)
Premises as used herein refers to and
shall include a lot, parcel of 1,tind. building or establish-
ment. (948)
(d) An apartment house is defined to be any
building contain-Ing three or more dwelling units with separate
plumbing facilities, but shall not include any building
comimonly known as a hotel, motel or auto court. (948)
(e) A rooming house is defined as being
any building other than apartment houses, mot-el, hotel or
auto court, where two or more rooms are rented to others for
lodging purposes by the person in charge of such building,

§ 83701 . Every person whose premises in the
City are served by a connection with the sewage system of the
City. whereby the sewage or industrial- wastes, or either or
both, are disposed or by the City, either through the fac-
lities of the sewage treatment and sewage disposal works,
u,aned by the City of Redlands, or otherwise, shall pay a
sewer rental charae based as follows : (946)
(a) Domestic Rates: All dvjeliinig -units,
including single family residences, aparluments, hotel accomi-
modations and mobile homes, having cooking facilDE--Jes sha."Ll

(b) Each dwelling unit without cooking
