A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF REDLANDS AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, OR HIS OR
HER DESIGNEE, TO ACCEPT AND CONSENT TO DEEDS OR GRANTS
CONVEYING INTERESTS IN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF REDLANDS
WHEREAS, state law provides that deeds or grants conveying any interest in, or
easement upon, real estate to a political corporation or governmental agency for public purposes
shall not be accepted for recordation without the consent of the grantee evidenced by its
certificate or resolution of acceptance attached to or printed on the deed or grant; and
WHEREAS, a political corporation or governmental agency, such as the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Redlands, may by adoption of a general resolution authorize one or more
of its officers or agents to accept and consent to such deeds or grants-, and
WHEREAS, if a certificate of acceptance is used for such deeds or grants, the certificate
shall be substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit "A"to this resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Redlands to authorize the Executive Director, or his or her authorized designee, to accept and
consent to deeds or grants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the Board of the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Redlands as follows:
Section 1. Deeds or grants conveying any interest in, or easement upon, real estate to
the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands for public purposes may be accepted by the
Executive Director, or his or her authorized designee.
Section 2. The certificate of acceptance used for such deeds or grants shall be
substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit"A"to this resolution.

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 427 was duly adopted by the Board of Directors
at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of September, 2008, by the following

FORM OF CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE
This is to certify that the interest in real property conveyed by the deed or grant dated
from to the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation, is hereby accepted by the undersigned
officer or agent on behalf of the Board of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands
pursuant to the authority conferred by Resolution No. 427 of the Board of the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Redlands adopted on September 3, 2008, and the grantee consents to
recordation thereof by its duly authorized officer.
