A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
RECITING THE FACT OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD ON JULY 14,
1987, DECLARING THE RESULT AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED
BY LAW
WHEREAS, a special election was held and conducted in
the City of Redlands on Tuesday, July 14, 1987, as required
by law; and
WHEREAS, notice of the election was given in time, form
and manner as provided by law; that in all respects the
election was held and conducted and the votes cast, received
and canvassed and the returns made and declared in time, form
and manner as required by the provisions of the Cortese/Knox
Local Government Reorganization Act (Government Code
Section 56000 et. seq. ) ; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4190 adopted
April 7, 1987, the Registrar of Voters of the County of San
Bernardino canvassed the returns of the election and has
certified the results; said results are received, attached
and made a part hereof as "Exhibit A" ;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
does resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1. That the measure voted upon at this Special
Election was as follows:
Shall the resolution adopted on
April 7, 1987, by the City Council
of the City of Redlands ordering
the annexation of described
unincorporated territory designated
as Annexation No. 60-A, LAFC 2388 ,
be confirmed, subject to the terms
and conditions specified in the
resolution?
SECTION 2. That the whole number of votes cast for this
Special Election was 504.
SECTION 3 . That the number of votes given for and
against the measure were as listed in "Exhibit A" attached.

SECTION 4 . That as a result of the Special Election, a
majority of the voters voting on the measure relating to
Annexation No. 60--A did not vote in favor of it and that the
measure was not carried and shall not be deemed adopted and
ratified and all proceedings relating to LAPC Reorganization
No. 2388 shall be terminated.
SECTION 5 . That the City Clerk of the City of Redlands
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of this
Resolution and cause a certified copy to be sent to the
Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission of
the County of San Bernardino.

I, Lorrie Poyzer, City Clerk of the City of Redlands, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
City Council of the City of Redlands at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 4th day of August, 1987, by the following
vote;
AYES: Councilmembers Larsen, DeMirj
Mayor Beswick yn, Johnson, Wormser;
NOES: None
