A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
SETTING PRIORITIES FOR FILING A WRITTEN ARGUMENT
REGARDING A CITY MEASURE
WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in the City of Redlands on
Tuesday, November 5, 1996, at which time there will be submitted to the voters the following
measure:
"Shall Ordinance No. 2328 entitled 'An ordinance of the City of Redlands amending
Chapter 3.26 of the Redlands Municipal Code relating to the establishment of an
admissions tax' be approved, and shall a corresponding adjustment in the City's
appropriations limit also be adopted?"
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does
resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the City Council authorizes
Mayor Swen Larson
Mayor. Pro Tem Pat Gilbreath
Councilmember William E. Cunningham
Councilmember Gilberto Gil
Councilmember Geni A. S. Banda
members of that body, to file a written argument regarding the City measure as specified
above in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 5 of the California Elections Code
and to change the argument until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no
arguments for or against the City measure may be submitted to the City Clerk.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of August 1996.
