A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
SETTING PRIORITIES FOR FILING A WRITTEN ARGUMENT REGARDING
A CITY MEASURE
WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in the City of Redlands on
Tuesday, November 7, 2000, at which time there will be submitted to the voters the following
measures:
"Shall Ordinance No. 2441, establishing a business license tax on
the extraction and processing of rock, sand and gravel, be
adopted?"
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does
resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION ONE: That the City Council authorizes

(Councilmember in favor/against)
members of that body, to file a written argument regarding the City measure as specified above
in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 5 of the Califoralia Elections Code and to
change the argument until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no
arguments for or against the City measure may be submitted to the City Clerk.
