This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for the provision of plan review,
design, and bidding/construction support services ("Agreement"), dated December 17, 2024, by
and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and
Higginson Architects Inc., a California corporation ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this
1' day of July, 2025.

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement,
specifically to add additional compensation to the agreement to allow for the completion of
additional projects as needed by several City Departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged City and Contractor agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Article 5 — Section 5.1 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Compensation: Total compensation for Consultant's performance of the Services shall
not exceed the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000). City shall pay
Consultant on a time and materials basis up to the not to exceed amount in accordance with
Exhibit "B," titled ("Fee Schedule") which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference."
Section 2. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect.
1N WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective as of
July 1, 2025.
