A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ADOPTING SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 42
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redlands
has prepared a Specific Plan and adopted such plan in R.P.C.
Resolution leo. 735, after holding public hearings upon such
notice in accordance with the Government Code of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, R.P.C. Resolution No. 735 has been certified to
the City Council of the City of Redlands; and
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of December, 1988, a Notice of
Public Hearing was published in the Redlands Daily Facts; and
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of December,1988, the City
Council held a duly advertised public hearing concerned with
the proposed Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of the Government Code
relating to the adoption of a specific plan have been com-
plied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
does hereby ordain as follows:
SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 42
1. The City Council hereby adopts the text of Specific Plan
No. 42 as submitted with five modifications adopted by the
Planning Commission by reference made a part thereof, for
approximately 31. 1 acres of property located south of Lugonia
Avenue and west of Bryn Mawr Avenue.
2. This amendment provides for a well-planned community
which will attract major businesses to the area in order to
provide a job base for the East Valley and to strengthen the
local economy while ensuring quality development through
design guidelines and standards.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED THIS 20th day of December,
1988 .

by the City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the
20th day of December, 1988, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Wormser, DeMirjyn, Johnson,
Mayor Beswick
NOES: Councilmember Cunningham
ABSENT: None
