This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the memorandum of understanding for
youth employment support of the City's Community Center/Senior Center programs C'MOU"),
dated June 18, 2024, by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general
law city ("City"), and Colton -Redlands -Yucaipa ROP ("'ROP"), is made and entered into this
15th day of July, 2025.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and ROP to amend their existing MOU to extend
the time for completion of the services to August 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and ROP to amend Section 3 of their existing
MOU to increase RO P's present total compensation of seventy five thousand dollars ($75,000)
to the amount of twenty thousand dollars ($150,000);
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged City and ROP agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section I. Section 2 of the MOU, titled "Term of MOU," is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"The term of this MOU shall commence on June 18, 2024, and end on August 30, 2026,
unless earlier terminated as provided for herein. The Parties may terminate this MOU at
any time by mutual written consent, or upon thirty (30) days prior written notice by one
Party to the other Party, and such termination shall be effective upon the date stated in
such written consent or notice."
Section 2 Section 3 of the MOU, titled "Compensation," is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"The total compensation to be paid by the City for the ROP's performance of the Services
shall not exceed the amount of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000). The
ROP shall submit monthly invoices to the City describing the Services performed during
the preceding month. The ROP invoices shall include a brief description of the Services
performed, the dates the Services were performed, and the number of hours spent and by
whom. The City shall pay the ROP no later than thirty (30) days after receipt and
approval by the City of the ROP's monthly invoices."
Section 3 All other provisions of the MOU shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be
effective as of July 15th, 2025.
