RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUDGET FOR
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE
HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City
of Redlands, hereinafter referred to as the City, and the State of
California, Department of Public Works , Division of Highways , here-
inafter referred to as the Department , on March 21, 1961, for
expenditure of State Allocated funds ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared budget proposal No.
1 showing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be
made during the 1965-66 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said budget pro-
posal as is familiar with the contents thereof ;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Redlands that said budget proposal dated , 1965,
be and is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of
the gas tax allocation to cities , said budget proposal be and the
same is hereby approved and the Director of Public Works is
directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and said budget
proposal to be submitted to the Department in accordance with the
provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and Highways Code .
