A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDLANDS AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 COMPONENT
OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS' SIX-YEAR LOCAL STREET CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6886
WHEREAS, in November, 1989, the voters of San Bernardino County approved passage
of Measure 1, 1990-2010, and in November 2004, subsequently re-approved Measure I 2010-
2040, authorizing the San Bernardino Associated Governments, acting as the San Bernardino
County Transportation Authority (the "Authority"), to impose a one-half of one percent retail
transactions and use tax (the "Tax") applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory
of the County of San Bernardino; and
WHEREAS, revenue from the Tax may only be used for transportation improvement and
traffic management programs authorized in the expenditure plans set forth in Ordinance No. 89-1
of the Authority; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure plans of Ordinance No. 89-1 of the Authority require that
each local jurisdiction receiving revenue from the Tax expend that revenue pursuant to a Capital
Improvement Program adopted by resolution of such local jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure plans of Ordinance No. 89-1 of the Authority also require
that each local jurisdiction annually adopt and update its Capital Improvement Plan;
WHEREAS, on October 6, 2009, the City Council of the City of Redlands adopted
Resolution No. 6886 to establish and adopt the City of Redlands Measure "I" Six-Year Capital
Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, since the adoption of its Capital Improvement Program, the City has
undertaken certain street and traffic construction work which has resulted in the need to revise
the City's Capital Improvement Plan as established by Resolution No. 6886;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The fiscal year 2009-2010 component of the City of Redlands' Six-Year
Local Street Capital Improvement Plan is hereby revised in accordance with the listing of capital
improvements identified in Exhibit"A"to this Resolution.
Section 2. Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 6886 is hereby amended to be consistent
with the redesignation of improvements described in Exhibit"A"to this Resolution No. 6982.
