This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for the provision of
organization structure and staffing analysis for the Redlands Police Department Support Services
Division ("Agreement"), dated September 18, 2024, by and between the City of Redlands, a
municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and Meliora Public Safety Consulting, LLC,
a California limited liability company ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 27th day of
August, 2025.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing Agreement,
specifically Section 4 "Performance of Services" to extend the term of the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged City and Consultant agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Secton 4.1 of Article 4 ("Performance of Services") of the Agreement, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
4.1 The term of this Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date of this
Agreement and end on December 31,
2025, unless terminated earlier as provided in the Agreement.
Section 2. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this First
Amendment and in effect.
Section 3. This Amendment may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be
deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be effective
as of August 27, 2025.
