RESOLUTION NO. 2671
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS CONCERNING AGREEMENT
WITH THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
WHEREAS , the intersection of Judson Street with the
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, known as Cross-
ing No. 2U-10.4, constitutes a hazard to the motoring public
and the railway company; and
WHEREAS , the City of Redlands desires to minimize this
hazard by widening this intersection; and
WHEREAS the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
has agreed with the City of Redlands in the widening of the
Judson Street grade crossing No. 2U-10 .4 as authorized by
Decision No. 69796 of the Public Utilities Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Council of the City of Redlands
does hereby approve the agreement between the Atchison, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company and the City of Redlands, speci-
fically the widening of the Judson Street grade crossing No.
2U-10.4 and the cost apportionment for this widening, and
2 . That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby author-
ized to sign this agreement in behalf of the City Council.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of April
1968.
