A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ORDERING THE WORK IN CONNECTION WITH ANNEXATION NO. 7 TO
STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redlands did on the 19th day of April, 1994,
adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 5064 to order the therein described work in
connection with the Annexation No. 7 to Street Lighting District No. 1; and
WHEREAS, after the adoption thereof,notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention
was duly mailed in the time, form, and manner as required by law, as appears from the
Affidavit of Mailing said Notice, on file in the office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received and considered evidence, oral and
documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts in this proceeding and concerning the
necessity for the contemplated work and the benefits to be derived therefrom; and
WHEREAS, said City Council has determined that a majority protest does not exist; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed work;
SECTION 1. It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Redlands that the
public interest and convenience requires Annexation No. 7 to the district and the ordering
of the work, and said City Council hereby orders that the work, as set forth and described
in said Resolution of intention No. 5064, be done and made; and
SECTION 2. Be it finally resolved that the report filed by the Engineer is hereby finally
approved.

21st day of June, 1994, by the following vote:
