A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET
IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS STREET VACATION NO. 106
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed
under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California and to vacate a portion of a certain street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the
vacation of a portion of excess right of way for property generally located at 1193 West Sunset
Drive in the R-A (Residential Estate) District as described in Exhibit "A "
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a portion of said street is
excess right-of-way; therefore the vacation of a portion of said street as described in Exhibit
"A" may be required by public interest, convenience, safety or welfare, if such street portion
is not required for present or prospective public purposes.
SECTION FOUR: The map and Exhibit "A" setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the Department of Planning and Community Development,
City Hall Plaza, 2 East Citrus Avenue, Suite 15A, Redlands, and available for inspection by
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time, date and place of the public
hearing on the street vacation at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 5, 1993, in the Council
Chambers, 212 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of September, 1993.
