RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF CERTAIN ALLEYS
IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS ST. VACATION NO. 96
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3 , Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California and to vacate two alleys in the manner
provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its
intention to order the vacation of two alleys located on the
eastern and northern boundaries of property located at 720
North Eureka Street, as described in Exhibit "A" attached.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that
said alleys are excess right-of-way; therefore the vacation
of of said alleys as described in Exhibit "A" may be required
by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR. The map setting the particulars of the
proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of
the Planning and Community Development Department and
available for inspection by persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time
and date and place of Public Hearings on the street closing
at 7:00 P.M. on May 15 , 1990 , in the regular meeting place of
the City Council, Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this lst day of May, 1990 .

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF ALLEY TO BE VACATED EASTERLY OF EUREKA STREET AND
SOUTHERLY OF COLTON AVENUE
That portion of ALLEY shown on Map of Tract No. 2083, as recorded in Book 30 of
Maps, Page 26, County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 11 in said Tract, said corner also being
on the West line of said Alley; thence EAST 10.00 feet to the East line of said Alley;
thence N 00 04' E along said East line 60.00 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 10
in said Tract; thence WEST along the South line of Lots 10, 9, 8, 7 and 6 in said
Tract a distance of 140.00 feet to the East line of Eureka Street (formerly First
Street); thence S 0' 04' W 10.00 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 11; thence
EAST 120.00 along the North line of said Lot 11 to the beginning of a tangent curve,
concave to the Southwest and having a radius of 10.00 feet; thence easterly and
southerly through a central angle of 900 04' an arc distance of 15.71 feet to a
tangent line, said line being the East line of said Lot 11; thence S 01, 04' W 40.00
feet to the point of beginning.
