A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
ESTABLISHING THE QUARTERLY MEETING SCHEDULE FOR THE AIRPORT
ADVISORY BOARD, PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMISSION,
MUNICIPAL UTILITIES/PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION, STREET TREE
COMMISSION, TRAFFIC AND PARKING COMMISSION, CULTURAL ARTS
COMMISSION, CITRUS COMMISSION AND HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, on April 15, 2025, an Ad Hoc Committee of the City Council was
formed to review all charters for the City's Commissions, Boards and Committees
(collectively "Commissions"); and
WHEREAS, Mayor Pro Tom Shaw and City Council Member Barich were
appointed to the Ad Hoc Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Ad Hoc Committee met with each Chairperson of the City's
Commissions, Boards and Committee, and reviewed all charters; and
WHEREAS, the Ad Hoc Committee reported their findings and recommendations
to the City Council at its regular meeting of July 15, 2025, which included a
recommendation to change to quarterly meetings for the Airport Advisory Board, Parks
and Recreation Advisory Commission, Municipal Utilities/Public Works Commission,
Street Tree Commission, Traffic and Parking Commission, Cultural Arts Commission,
Citrus Commission and Human Relations Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. This City Council of the City of Redlands hereby establishes a
quarterly meeting schedule for the City's Commissions as follows:
A. The Airport Advisory Board, the Municipal Utilities/Public Works
Commission and the Street Tree Commission shall hold their regular
meetings in the months of January, April, July and October.
B. The Citrus Preservation Commission and the Traffic and Parking
Commission shall hold their regular meetings in the months of February,
May, August and November.
C. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, the Cultural Arts
Commission and the Hunan Relations Commission shall hold their regular
meetings in the months of March, June, September and December.
