RESOLUTION NO. 4206
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
FINDING THAT A PORTION OF A CERTAIN ALLEY IS UNNECESSARY FOR.
PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE
VACATION OF SAID PORTION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLA DS hereby ordains
and resolves as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands,
having elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3 , Chapter 2, of to Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, and having held a public hearing as
provided herein, hereby finds from all evidence submitted
that a portion of certain a alley described in Exhibit "A"
(attached) is unnecessary for presentt or prospective street
purposes and that the public interest and convenience require
the closing of a portion of said alley. The City Council
hereby further finds that such vacation is consistent with
the City' s General Plan.
SECTION TWO : The City Council hereby orders the
vacation of a portion of a certain alley described in the
attached Eh:'b t "A. "
SECTIO '=TREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this
City Council for the vacation of a portion of a certain alley
described in the attached Exhibit "A. " the City of Redlands
reserves and excepts from the vacations the permanent
easement and right at any time, or from time to time, to
construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew
sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures,
in, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed
to be vacated and pursuant to any exiting franchises or
renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain,
operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe,
conduits , cables , wires , poles and other convenient
structures, equipment and futures for the operation of gas
pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, and for the
distribution or transportation of electric energy, water and
incidental purposes, including access and right to keep
property free front inflammable materials and wood growth, and
to otherwise protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and
over the portions of, "Che streets proposed to be vacated.

SECTION FOUR: The Cite Council hereby determines that
the vacation of a portion of a certain alley as described in
the attached Exhibit "A" herein is required by public
interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of December,
1986.

adjoining Lots 3 , 4 , 5 , and 6 in Block 4 of The Columbia
Tract, as shown by map on file in Book 15 , page 26 of Maps,
San Bernardino County Records, BOUNDED by the following
described lines:
BOUNDED on the forth by the Southerly line of said Lot 6;
BOUNDED on the South by the Northerly line of said Lots 3, 4
and. 5,
POUNDED on the West by the Southerly prolongation of the
Westerly line of said Lot 6. and
BOUNDED on the East by the Southerly prolongation of the
Easterly line of said L=ot 6.
