RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State
of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner
provided therein.
SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its
intention to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that
the vacation of the portion of a certain street described in
Exhibit "A" is required by public interest, convenience, safety
and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and
date and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at
7:00 P.M. on the 19th day of April, 1977, in the regular meeting
place of the City Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this
resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a
newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in
the City of Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of April, 1977.

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of Brookside Avenue in the City of Redlands,
County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as
follows :
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 30 of Tract No. 9326
per trap recorded in. Book 128 of Maps, page 64, records of said
County, said corner being on the Southerly right of way of 40
foot wide Brookside Avenue; thence South 0010 ' 59" East 10.00
feet; thence North 89049 ' 01" East 283.38 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave to the Southwest and having a radius
of 13.00 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 56028 ' 52" an arc length of 12.82 feet; thence
North 33042 ' 07" West 11. 99 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave to the Southwest and having a radius of 13. 00
feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve through a central
angle of 56028 ' 52" an arc length of 12.82 feet; thence South
89 49 ' 01" West 276. 76 feet to the point of BEGINNING.
