A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS as follows:
Section One: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under Sections
8320 et. Leq., of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California to consider the vacation of
portions of certain streets in the manner provided therein.
Section Two: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of
portions of certain streets as described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference.
Section Three:The City Council has preliminarily determined that portions of said streets are
excess right-of-way; therefore, may not be required for present or prospective public use.
Section Four: The map setting forth the particulars of the proposed vacations shall be on file in
the Department of Planning and Community Development, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 20,
Redlands, California, and is available for inspections by persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacations.
Section Five: The City Council hereby fixes the time, date and place of the public hearing on
the vacations at 7:00 P.M. on the 16th day of January, 2001, in the Council Chambers, Civic Center, 35
Cajon Street, Redlands, California.

PORTION OF BRYN MAWR AVENUE
That portion Bryn Mawr Avenue (formerly Aquilon Avenue) as shown on the map of
Orange Grove Homestead Tract, in the City of Redlands, County of San Bemardino,
State of California, as per plat recorded in book 2 of Maps, page 5, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County lying Southerly of the following described line:
Commencing at the Southeast comer of said land described in the deed to the Southern
California Edison Company recorded October 8, 1964, in Book 6247, page 697 of
Official Records in the office of said County recorder; thence North 0°30'06 West
1468.83 feet along said Easterly line of said land of the Southern California Edison
Company to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 89°29'54" East 1185.00
feet to the end of said line.
