CALIFORNIA STREET CLOSING It appearing to the City Council from the written petition on file with the City Clerk that it is the desire of the property owners abutting on certain portions of California Street described as being those portions lying between Lots 19, 20, 21, 22, Block 28, according to map No. 6 of Redlands Heights, as per plat thereof recorded in Book 7, page 40, Records in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, and Blocks 3, 42 5, according to Subdivision of a part of Block 50, Map No. 9 of Redlands Heights, as per plat recorded in Book 16 of Maps, page 29, records in the office of the County Recorder of said San Bernardino County, that said portions of said street be closed and vacated; and it further appearing that the said Street is not used by the public in general, and only to a limited extent by the owners of lands whose property abutts thereon; It is therefore resolved that proceedings be instituted for the closing of said portions of said Street above described; that the City Engineer be and he is hereby instructed to give notice of this resolution of intention in the manner and for the time required by law, and that exterior boundaries of the district hereby established, and the exterior boundaries of the district of the land hereby declared to be assessed and benefitted by said closing and to be assessed to pay the damages, costs and expenses thereof are described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of said Lot 19; thence easterly along the northerly lines of said Lots 19, 20, 21 and 22 of said Block 28 according to Map No. 6 of Redlands Heights to Fountain Avenue - /thence venue /thence westerly along the Northerly line of Fountain Avenue to its junction with Knoll Road: thQnc,a V m-,tori: n ^" - +-1,- AT-,--a Block 50, according to said Map No. 9 of Redlands Heights; thence Northerly along the Westerly line of said Lot 3 to the Southerly line of California Street; thence Easterly to the point of beginning. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Redlands on the I- F I. -' day of February, 1934, by the unanimous vote of said Council. Book 7 of Maps, page 40, Records in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County' and Blocks 3, 42 5 according to Subidivis on of a Part of Block 502 Map No. 9 of Redlands Heights, as per plat recorded in Book 16 of Maps, page 29, records in the office of the County Recorder of said San Bernardino County, be closed after notice has been given in the manner and for the time required by law.
