RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9,
Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Street and Highways Code of the State
of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner
provided therein:
SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its in-
tention to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street
described as follows :
All that portion of Central Townsite, a subdivision of
a portion of Lot 28, Block 77, Rancho San Bernardino
in the City of Redlands as recorded in Book 8, page 57
thereof records of San Bernardino County, State of
California and described in whole as follows :
Commencing at the centerline intersections of Third
Street (recorded Silvera Avenue , 54 feet wide ) and
High Avenue (recorded Stillman Avenue , 50 feet wide) ,
thence easterly along the centerline of High Avenue ,
27 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
Thence northerly along the easterly right of way of
Third Street to the Southwest corner of Lot 11 , Block
B, of the said Central Townsite . Thence easterly
along the southerly line of said Lot 11 , 128 feet ,
said point being on the northerly right of way of 50
foot wide High Avenue . Thence southerly parallel with
the cast line of Lot 11 , Block B, 50 feet to the nor-
therly line of Lot 1 , Block C of the said Central Town-
site. Thence westerly along the said north line of
Lot 1 of Said Block C, 128 feet to the northwest corner
of said Lot 1 . Said point being in the easterly right
of way of Third Street. Thence northerly parallel to
the centerline of Third Street , 25 feet to the center-
line of High Avenue and the True Point of Beginning.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of the certain street described herein is required by
public interest , convenience, safety and welfare .
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and
date and place of Public Hearing on the above described street
closing at 7 :00 P.M. on the second day of November, 1965 in the
regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands , California .

SECTION SIX : Within fifteen days after its passage , this
resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a
newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in
the City of Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this . 2ndday of November
1965.
