RESOLUTION OINTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS
OF CERTAIN STREETS 1N TT E CITY OF REDI-kINDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUE CITY OF REDOANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands herehy
elects to proceed under the prte` isi=8 of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter
2, of the Street and Highways Code of the SLate of Calif oinia and to
vacate portions of streets in the manner provided therein,,
SECTIQ TWO: The City Council does herdry declare its intention to
order the vacation of portions of a certain alley described as follows:
Legal Description:
Those portions of Lors 8 and 9 of TRACT NO, 1935, COLLEGE PLACE, per Map
recorded in Book 28 of Maps, Page 5, in the Office of the Coonny Recorder
of said County, described as follows :
REGINNING at a point in the Westerly line of said Lot 8, distant along
said Westerly line North 00 091 11 ' West M5 feet from the Southwest-
erly corner of said Lot 8: thence Wourse "A") out; 71' 29 , 58" East
7, 27 feet; thence (Course "B") South 680 260 47" East 85 . 75 feet; thence
(at right angles) North 21' 330 13 " East 20 .00 feet; thence parallel wit'''ft
said Course "B" , North 68' 26 4? ' West 86 28 feet to a line parallel
with and distant 20 ,00 feet Northeily, meanarod at right angles, from,
said Course 04 ; thence along said parallel line, North 71c 290 58" West
14 .56 feet to said Westerly line of Lot 8; thence along said Westerly

SECTION TREK The City Council hereby detesmines thau the vacation
of the portions of the certain streets described hexein is required by
public interest, convenience, safety and welfare,
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Depaxwent of Public
Works and availahle for inspection by persons interested in or objecting
to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council herdby fixes the time and date and
place of Public Hearing on the above-described street closing an 7too
P�M� on the 18th day of june, 1974 in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, Redlands, California,
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolu-
tion shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands,
California,
