This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement for Homeless Resource
Services supporting rapid rehousing ("Agreement"), dated December 5, 2023, by and between
the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and The Salvation
Army, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation and 501(c)(3) ("Provider"), is made and
entered into this 16"' day of December, 2025.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Provider to amend their existing Agreement,
specifically to revise the compensation of funds and increase the total dollar amount by Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($50,000) to ensure the expenditure deadline is met by June 30d', 2026; and
WHEREAS, by this First Amendment, the City and Provider agree to the amendments to
the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged City and Consultant agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
Section 1. Article 5 ("Payment to Provider") subsection 5.1 of the Agreements
hereby amended to read as follows:
"5.1 The total compensation for Provider's Services shall be in the amount of One
Million Fifty -Nine Thousand Four Hundred Eighty -Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents.
($1,059,487.50). The City shall pay the Provider 75% of the total compensation upon execution
of this Agreement and 25% of the total compensation shall be paid to Provider by April 1, 2026,
so that Services can be expedited to the homeless population."
Section 2. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this
First Amendment and in effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First Amendment, to be
effective as of December 16, 2025.
