This being the time set for the final hearing of Reso-

lution No. 4451 and parties interested having been notified , Walte

that Mr. Penoe , owner of property adjoining said road on the east

requested him to advise this Board that he (Mr, Pence ) was agree-
able to the closing, which statement was supported by a like one

from President Wheaton, whereupon, on motion, duly seconded and

to parried, the Board adopted the following Resolution :
� 1 "Resolved by the Board. of Trustees of the City of Redland
1 ,
that that portion of Dearborn ,street lying south of Fifth Avenue ,
13 in the City of Redlands , be and the same is hereby closed , vacated
14 and abandoned : It is further Resolved : That it ap -ears to the
15 Board of Trustees of the said City that there are no costs ,
16 damages or expenses occasioned by or arising out of the olosing
li of said street , as aforesaid , and that no assessment is necessary
to nay any oosts , daMages or expenses for the same , therefore ,
1t} no commissioners are appointed to assess the benefits or damages
