RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A CERTAIN ALLEY
IN THE CITY OF REDI!iNDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOL-
LOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chap-
ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate a certain alley in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TKO : The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of an alley described as follows :
All that alley as deeded by deeds recorded in Book 70
of Deeds, Page 150 and Book 69 of Deeds, Page 300, said
alley being in Lot 28, Block 77, RANCI-10 SAN BERNIARDINO,
as recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 2, in the office of
the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of
California, described as, follows :
A strip of land for alley-way, commencing at a point
125 feet west from the west line of orange Street
(84. 25 feet) ; thence running 20 feet west along the
north line of Redlands Boulevard (formerly Water
Street) ; thence north at right angles 402. 25 feet to
the depot grounds of the California Southern Railway;
thence east at right angles 20 feet; and thence south
402. 25 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the
vacation of that certain alley described above is required by
public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed
alley vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the alley closing at 7 :00 P.M. on
the 20th day of December, 1977, in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, City of Redlands, California .
SECTION SIX. Within fifteen, days after_ its passage, this
resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a news-
paper of general circulation published and circulated in the City
of Redlands, California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day) of December, 1977.
