Home My WebLink About2378_CCv0001.pdf 4_ RESOLUTION NO. 2378 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN STREET AND ALLEY IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS : SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chapter 2 of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of portions of a certain street and alley described as follows : All that portion of Subdivision of Block 28 of Redlands , in the City of Redlands , County of San Bernardino , California as recorded in Book It , Page 2 of Maps and described in whole as follows : a thirteen (13 ) foot wide strip in Section A lying northerly of Lots 25 through -29, and westerly ten (10) feet of Fifth Street between Vine Street and Citrus Avenue of the said subdivision. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of portions of the certain street and alley described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street and alley vacation shall be on file in the office of the Depart- ment of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the above described street closing at 9 :30 A.M. on the 17 th day of ivne, 1964 in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands , California.
