A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9 , Part 3 , Chap-
ter 2 , of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California
and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten-
tion to order the vacation of a portion of a street described as
follows :
That portion of a road easement as described in Deed 529 ,
Pages 232-234 , more particularly described as follows :
The East 15 feet of Parcels 3 and 4 of Parcel Map No.
3264 as recorded in Book 35 of Parcel Maps , Page 87 ,
in the Office of the County Recorder, County of San
Bernardino, State of California.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a
portion of a certain street is unimproved and excess right-of-way;
therefore, the vacation of the portion of the street described
above may be required by public interest, convenience, safety and
welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the Department of Public Works
and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting
to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE : The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place for public hearing on the street closing at 7 :00 P.M. on
the 5th day of March , 1985 , in the Council Chambers , 212 Brookside
Avenue, Redlands , California.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of February, 1985 .
