HomeMy WebLinkAbout2290_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 2290 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a certain street described as follows: The Northwesterly 18 feet of 100 foot wide Fern Avenue, lying between the Southwesterly line of 60 foot wide San Mateo Street and the Northeasterly line of Lakeside Avenue. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the certain street described herein is required by public interest' convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A snap setting the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby faxes the time and date and place of Public, Hearing on the above described street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the day of 1963 in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, Calif o a. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
