RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS AND RESCIND RESOLUTION NO. 2527
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3,
Chapter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of Calif-
ornia and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided
therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described
as follows :
That portion of 100 foot wide Fern Avenue and portion of
Lot 1 , Block G northerly of and adjacent to the northerly
right-of-way line of 100 foot wide Fern Avenue, being a
portion of Second Preliminary Map of Redlands as recorded
in Book 5 of Maps, Page 2 thereof, located westerly of the
line parallel with and 39 feet distant southerly, measured
at right angles from the centerline of Citrus Avenue and
easterly and southeasterly of the east line of that certain
parcel conveyed to the City of Redlands by Redlands Unified
School District by a deed recorded in Book 6648 of Official
Records , Page 656 thereof, records of San Bernardi-no County,
State of California.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portion of the certain street described herein is
required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public
Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of Public Hearing on the above-described street closing at

SECTION SIX: Within, fifteen days after its passage, this resolution
shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands ,
California.
