RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF
A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3,
Chapter 2 , of the Street and Highways Code of the State of
California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner
provided therein,
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described
as follows :
That portion of Block I of Redlands Heights as recorded in Book 11
of Maps , Page 16 in the office of the County Recorder , County of
San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows :
Beginning at the intersection of the South right-of-way line of
Fifth Avenue with the East right-of-way line of Farview Lane as
shown on Tract No . 5688 recorded in Book 88 of Maps , Page 24 and
25 in said office, County and State; thence South 0' 11 ' 44" West
along last said East right-of-way line 74. 27 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of
113 . 23 feet , last said curve being tangent with said East right-of-
way line of Farview Lane; thence Northwesterly along last said
curve through a central angle of 59* 57 ' 42", 118 . 50 feet to the
intersection with the centerline of Fifth Avenue, last said
intersection having a radial which bears South 30* 14' 02" West,
last said intersection also being the True Point of Beginning;
thence North 89' 49' 52" East along said centerline of Fifth Avenue
69. 27 feet; thence South 47' 16 ' 12" West, 46.89 feet to the
beginning of a non-tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having
a radius of 113 . 23 feet, last said beginning of curve having a radial
which bears South 54' 12 ' 22" West ; thence Northwesterly along last
said curve through a central angle of 23* 58 ' 20" 47. 37 feet to
the True Point of Beginning.
SECTION THREE: The City Council, hereby determines that the vacation
of the portion of the certain street described herein is required by
public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.

SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Public Works Depart-
ment and available for inspection by persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of Public Hearing on the above-described street closing at
7 -00 -P.M. on the 15th day of April, 1975 in the regular
meeting place of the City Council, Redlands , California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution
shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts , a newspaper of
general circulation. published and circulated in the City of Redlands ,
California.
