HomeMy WebLinkAbout4140_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 4140 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLAtMS does resolve as follows: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9 , Part 3 , Chapter 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a portion of Fifth Avenue as described in Attachment "A." SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a portion of Fifth Avenue is excess right-of-way; therefore the vacation of the portion of Fifth Avenue described in Attachment " A" may be required by public interest , convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Public Works Department and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 7 :00 P.M. on the 21st day of January, 1986, in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California. EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PORTION WITHIN FORD STREET AS IT NOW EXISTS.
