A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CLOSE A PORTION OF FIRST STREET IN THE CITY
OP REDLANDS.
THE •---.-Ty cOUNCTL OF THE CZIJTIY OF REDLANDS hereby resolves as follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a
street in the manner Provided therein.
sEr_,_rv1,0N TWO: This City Council does hereby declare that it is the
intention of this City Council to order the vacation of a portion of a
aertAin street in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State
of Califorrd'La, described as follows:
A1.1 that portion of First Street �foryneriy Lugonia Street) ,
50 feet in width, including a portion of Vacated Redlands
Avenue, as shown on map of a portion of Rancho San Bernar-
dino, in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino,
State of California, as per plat recorded in Book 7, page 2,
of Maps, records of said County, which lies between the
northerly line of West Central Avenue (92 feet wide) and a
line which is parallel with and distant southerly 25 feet from
the northerly line of Block B of said portion of the Rancho
San Bernardino, and the westerly prolongation thereof.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portion of a city street, namely First Street, described
herein, is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare.
S&C'TION FOUR: A map setting out the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk and
available for inspection by interested persons .
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of a Public Hearing of all matters concerning the above-described
proposed street closing, and the time at which any person or agent should
present any objections to the aforesaid street vacation, at 7:00 P.M. on
the_f day of 1961, in the regular meeting place of
the City Council in the Cyty Hall, Redlands, California.
