RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as
follows:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 ,
Chapter 2 , of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner pro-
vided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its in-
tention to order the vacation of a portion of a street generally
located on the northeast corner of Ford Street and Reservoir Road
described in the attached Exhibit "A. "
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that a por-
tion of the street described above is unimproved and excess right-
of-way; therefore, the vacation of the portion of the street
generally located on the northeast corner of Ford Street and
Reservoir Road may be required by public interest, convenience,
safety and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department
of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date
and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 7 : 00 P.M. on
the 6th day of December, 1983 , in the regular meeting place of the
City Council , Redlands, California.

EXHIBIT A
Those portions of Blocks 30 and 31 of REDLANDS HEIGHTS, as per map
recorded in Book 11, page 16 of maps, records of San Bernardino County,
State of California, described as follows:
Parcel No. 1
BEGINNING at the intersection of the North line of the South one-half
of Section 36 , Township 1 South, Range 3 West, San Bernardino Meridian,
with the Northeasterly line of that certain strip of land designated
as "Segment No. 23" on map entitled DETAIL MAP OF RELINQUISHMENT, on
file in Book 5 , page 68 of State Highway Maps, records of said County;
thence North 25° 47 ' 49" West along the Northeasterly line of said
"Segment No. 23" a distance of 148 . 56 feet; thence North 390 09'
39" West continuing along the Northeasterly line of said "Segment
No. 23" a distance of 172 . 98 feet; thence South 561 32 ' 34" West
along the most Northerly line of said "Segment No. 23" a distance
of 53 . 20 feet to a line that is parallel with and 62. 00 feet North-
easterly, measured at right angles, from the Southwesterly line of
said "Segment No. 23" ; thence South 280 30 ' 00" East along said
parallel line a distance of 270 . 94 feet to the beginning of a curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 1168.00 feet; thence
Southeasterly along said curve, concentric with said Southwesterly line
of "Segment No. 23" , through a central angle of 0° 05 ' 04" an arc
distance of 1. 72 feet to the aforementioned North line of the South
one-half of Section 36 ; thence North 891 18 ' 26" East along said North
line a distance of 88 . 17 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said
parcel contains 0. 507 acres, more or less.

BEGINNING at the most Southerly corner of that certain strip of land
designated as "Segment No . 21" on map entitled DETAIL MAP OF RELIN-
QUISHMENT on file in Book 5 , page 66 of State Highway Maps, records
of said County; thence Northeasterly and North westerly along the
Southeasterly and North easterly lines of said "Segment No . 21" the
following courses; North 250 21' 48" East a distance of 200 . 00 feet;
Thence North 41° 24 ' 39" West a distance of 183 . 25 feet; thence
North 181 25 ' 06" West a distance of 73 . 71 feet to the Northerly line
of that certain parcel of land described as Parcel "B" in deed to the
State of California recorded April 1 , 1960, in Book 5098, page 541,
Official Records of said County; thence leaving the Northeasterly
line of "Segment No. 21" North 89° 24 ' 00" West along said. Northerly
line of Parcel "B" a distance of 35 . 03 feet to a line that is parallel
with and 81. 00 feet distant Northeasterly, measured at right angles,
from the Southwesterly line of said "Segment No. 21" ; thence South
26° 23 ' 16" East along said parallel line, a distance of 145 . 18
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave Westerly and
having a radius of 244 . 00 feet; thence Southerly along said curve,
concentric with the Westerly line of said "Segment No. 21" , through
a central angle of 56° 02 " 12" an arc distance of 238 . 64 feet to
the Southerly line of said "Segment No. 21" ; thence South 501 47 '
17" East along said Southerly line of "Segment No. 21" a distance
of 46. 28 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said parcel contains
