A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF
REDLANDS - STREET VACATION No. 40 -
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 35 Chapter 2 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a street
in the manner provided therein.
SECTION 'r,40: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
order the vacation of a certain street described as follows:
All that portion of Fountain Road in the City of
Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California,
lying north of Lot 1 and Lot 20., Terracina Bluff Lots,,
as per plat recorded in Book 9 of Maps, Page 38, records
of said County; said portion being between the westerly
line of 80 foot wide Terracina Boulevard and that por-
tion of Fountain Road closed by City of Redlands Resolution
No. 916, January 7., 1958.
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of
the certain street described herein is required by public interest, convenience,
safety and welfare.
SECT-ION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and
available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation.
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place
of Public Hearing on the above described street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the
7th day of January, 1964 in the regular meeting place of the City Council,
Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage., this resolution shall
be published in the Redlands Daily Facts,, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
ADOPTED., SIGNED AND APPROVED this day of 1963.
