HomeMy WebLinkAbout3564_CCv0001.pdf RESOLUTION NO. 3564 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a por- tion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to order the vacation of a portion of Fourth Street described as follows : All that portion of Fourth Street north of the centerline of the Southern Pacific Railroad as shown on Record of Survey recorded in Book 29 of Records of Survey, Page 61, in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardinot State of California. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the portion of a certain street described herein is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing an the street closing at 7:00 P .M. on the 20th day of March, 1979, in the regular meeting place of the City Council , Redlands, California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
