RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF CERTATN'
STREETS 1N THE CITY OF RELANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chapter
2, o� the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to
vacate portions .of streets in the manner provided therein.
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention
to order the vacation of portions of certain streets described as fol-
lows.
Legal Description for Vacating Alley between High Avenue and
Vree

The 15 foot wide alley as shown in Block B of the Link Addition
as recorded in Book 4, Page 13 of Maps , in the office of the
County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of California,
between the limits of the northerly right of way line of High
Avenue produced and the most northerly line of Lot 8 of said
Block B produced across the alley to a point on the westerly line
of Lot 14 of said Block B .
SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portions of the certain streets described herein is real-lired
by pub liC 4 nterest, convenience, safety= and welfare.
SECTION FOUR: A map setting the particulars of the proposed
street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of
Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION FTVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of Public Hearing on the above-described street closing at 7 :00
P.M. on the 15th day of June, 1971 in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, Redlands, California.
SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolu-
tion shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of
general circulation published and circulated in the City of Rediands,
California.
