RESOLUTION OF iNTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby
elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 2,
of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate
a portion of a Street in the manner provided thernin-
SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
order the vacation of a portion of a certain street described as follows ,,,,
Legal description for vacating a portion of Highland Avenue
That portion of Highland Avenue of the Second Preliminary Map of Redlands ,
Addition No, 1, as per plat recorded in Book 5 of Maps, Page 4, records
of San Bernardino County, State of California, described an follows :
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Tract No, 7108, as recorded
in Book 102 of Maps , Pages 37 and 38, said Southeast corner being 50
feet Northerly, measured at right angles from the center lins of 100 '
wide Highland Avenue; thence South i5o 00 ' 00 : East, 35, 27 feet to a
W on a curve concave to the Southeast and having a radius of 571,46
feet; tangent to said curve at last said point bears South 740 227 47''
West; thence Southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of
90 06T 00" , 90s76 feet to a point of revers8 curve, said curve being
concave Northerly having a radius of 13, 00 feet ; thence Westerly along
said curve through a central angle of 810 02 ' 36a , 18, 39 feet to a
point on line parallel to and 32 feet Northeast from the centerline of
64 foot wide Grove Street ; thence North we8terly along last said parallel
line 11.12 feet to the beginning of a curve concave Northerly and having
a radius of 13,00 feet, tangent to said beginning of curve bears South
330 400 37" East ; thence Easterly along said curve throngh a central
angle of 890 59 ' 23" , 20o42 feet to a point an the South line of said
Lot 1 ; thence Easterly along said South in 97.00 feet to the Point
of Beginning,,
SECTION THREE; The City Council hereby determines that the vaca-
tion of the portions of the certain streets described herein is required
by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare,
SECTION FGUR, A map setting the particulars of the proposed street
vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works
and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation,
SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and
place of public hearing on the above-described street closing at 7 ;00 Vm
on the 20th day of March, 1973 in the regular meeting place of the
City Council, Redlands , California,

general circulation published and circulated in the City of RMIands ,
Califoynia,
