HomeMy WebLinkAbout3299_CCv0001.pdf RESOLU'T'ION NO. 3299 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A POR'T'ION OF A CERTAIN S'T'REET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES RESOLVE AS FOL- LOWS : SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO : The City Council does hereby declare its inten- tion to order the vacation of a portion of a certain street des- cribed as follows : Legal Description for vacation of 10 feet of Highland Avenue -- Tract 8786 The Northwesterly 10.00 feet of that portion of 100 foot wide High- land Avenue lying within Lots 2 and 3 of Block 36, as shown on the plat of Addition No. 1 to the Second Preliminary Map of Redlands, recorded in Book 5 of Taps, Page 4, records of the County of San Bernardino, State of California. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation: of the portion of a certain street described above is re- quired by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: A asap setting the particulars of the proposed street vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fres the time and date and place of Public .Hearing on the street closing at 7 :00 P.M. on the 7th day of December, 1976 in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California . SECTION SIX: within fifteen days after its passage, this reso- lution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands, California.
