HomeMy WebLinkAbout3432_CCv0001.pdflows: RESOLUTION NO. 3432 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS does resolve as fol- SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- ter 2, of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California and to vacate a portion of a street in the manner provided therein. SECTION TWO: The City Council does hereby declare its inten- tion to order the vacation of a portion of Hugo Avenue described as follows: All that portion of Hugo Avenue (60 feet wide) between the East right-of-way line of Sterling Avenue now known as Mountain View Avenue, and the West right-of-way line of California Street, as shown on Map of Orange Grove Homestead recorded in Book 2 of Maps, Page 5, in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Ber- nardino, State of California. SECTION THREE: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of the portion of Hugo Avenue described above is required by public interest, convenience, safety and welfare. SECTION FOUR: The map setting the particulars of the proposed vacation shall be on file in the office of the Department of Public Works and available for inspection by persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. SECTION FIVE: The City Council hereby fixes the time and date and place of Public Hearing on the street closing at 7:00 P.M. on the l7th day of January, 1978, in the regular meeting place of the City Council, Redlands, California. SECTION SIX: Within fifteen days after its passage, this resolution shall be published in the Redlands Daily Facts, a news- paper of general circulation published and circulated in the City of Redlands.
